logoSocial media is becoming a bigger part of school life, so it’s more important than ever that teachers know how to keep themselves safe on the Internet.

To help, SaferInternet.org.uk has put together a range of free brilliantly simple guides on managing your presence on the big social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Each page shows you the steps to report incidents, raise an alert if your account has been hacked, report inappropriate photos of students, and lots more. There’re also PDFs that you can share or print off for colleagues showing all of the information in an easily digestible format. Every staffroom should have a copy posted on the wall!
