You can now use Google as a timer. The feature, which is slowly rolling out to all regions, allows you to set a timer in your browser.

There is also a full screen option which would be great for projectors or TVs to focus the attention of the class.

To start a timer you can use queries such as:

  • Set timer for 30 seconds
  • Set timer for 10 minutes and 10 seconds
  • Set timer for an hour and a half
  • Timer for 30 seconds
  • Timer 30 seconds

The timer feature isn’t currently working for all users, let me know if you’re one of the lucky ones!
